In Her Own Native Tongue is a
collection of poetry and prose
by Teresa Prins-Wood.
Written over the past twenty years
and finally organized into book form,
this work is an example of
American Poetry of the
twenty first century and
demonstrates the captivating,
story-telling quality of free verse and
the melodic feel of classic prose.
Teresa Prins-Wood makes her home in Northeastern Oklahoma. An avid traveler, her poetry reflects a love of nature, her faith, and strong ties to family. A graduate of the University of Tulsa and the University of Oklahoma, she served as a masters level counselor in the field of family reunification/restoration.
