You Can’t Kill the Miracle

Jaime had been in and out of prisons for much of his adult life. Among these were Fort Leavenworth Military Prison and Riker’s Island. But the real turning point in his life came when he was going to spend his whole life in prison: A life sentence.

For many years I was sick – sin sick, but He loved me.
How is it this guy can go to prison and get his life back?
How can I come from this hell hole and be raised up?
The miracle got shot six times in the chest and survived.
The miracle earned his GED in prison.
– – Jaime Torres

When we become lenient and rely on ourselves instead of Him, we tend to relax our morals and values. God knew what Jaime needed. He was a stubborn, hard-headed young man, and so God had to radically deal with Jaime. In prison, he came to believe in God and to discover who He is.

Jaime Torres has a special place in his heart for young people. Their salvation is his priority, so he continues to speak at youth rallies in several states. Jaime has a burden for the unity among all people, especially the people of God, regardless of their culture or denomination. In addition to preaching in many states, Jaime has had the privilege of ministering in Ecuador, Peru, Belize, Panama, Mexico, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic.
